It is a lot of work. Some guys love it...some send their car back to have it done and eat the transportation costs and figure it is still a bargin! It's up to you--we are happy to help.
We use the Scotch-Brite pads as a sanding pad. We find the DA sander really, really helps, but it makes a TERRIBLE mess.
I imagine we will know all of the Kirkham do-it-yourselfers at the next show--they are the ones who will be looking like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz.
