So, my question is this.

Why does one need a 110 gph pump?

Of course there is the question of: are the pumps guys telling the truth?
Richard - The pump manufacturers quote free-flow pump volumes. As pressure increase, volume decreases. 110gph Mallory pumps flow that much with zero backpressure.

110gph @ 0psi
90gph @ 5.5psi
70gph @ 6psi
35gph @ 6.5psi
10gph @ 7psi

Scary huh?!?!?!

Bosch Motorsport fuel pumps are popular in many various forms of motorsport using EFI. They quote fuel volumes based on 3bar or around 45psi fuel pressure. Much more relevant advertising...
