Maybe you should try the set-up I have (see pic below). Cobra Valley
http://performanceunlimited.com/cobravalley sells the billet breathers and catch tank. Just add some steel braided hose and fittings for a clean appearance. Connect the passenger side to the vacuum fitting on the rear of the carb, and the driver side goes to the tank (mounted on the front cross-member). The tank has a filter breather top to remove any vacuum effects. I never get one drop of
oil on the valve covers with this set-up, and I'm running a Mighty Demon, too (great carb!).
