I'm planning to have my headers and sidepipes ceramic coated. Is it better to run the pipes uncoated for a time to heat cycle them before coating or should they be coated before you contaminate them with exhaust products. I noticed that quite a few coating make no distinction between new or used exhaust. Should I take that to mean there really isn't an advantage one way or the other?
