I considered doing a space saving spare wheel for mine. I decided not to bother when I thought what do you then do with a 17x11" flat tyre? do you sit it on your wifes lap while you drive to the tyre shop? I figure a can of fixa flat or a tyre plug
kit and some CO2 cartridges would be a better option. Or even better an RACV membership and a mobile phone.

If you really want a spare just buy a dual bolt patern Weld racing drag lite rim. They are available in 15x6" and all you need to do is carry a set of 1/2" shouldered wheel nut to suit it. They are light weight and fairly compact and would fit in the boot OK. The only problem I see with it is the difference in center bore diameter between the Jag and Ford hubs. You could machine up a spacer ring to slip in for the smaller ford center bore.
