Default Shifter for T56
Aussie Mike,

I appreciate very much your efforts in supplying the pictures and information!
I have emailed my car manufacturer Ram UK as he has fitted a T56, but they may bend a lever forward, like the original 427 style!

From what I can gather the T56 has the original shifter about 26.5" back from bellhousing whereas the Toploader has it about 19.5" (7") difference has gotta be no good for any Cobra setup, so I assume I would be safe in not ordering the trans with a shifter at this stage and maybe just a blanking cap at the back!
