It was the best cold start system i've used. I had a DGV fitted to a crossflow 250 ci Ford ( daily driver ) and on our winter mornings, typically -6 c (20 F) it started and idled fine and with no flooding and eratic behavior. Just to clarify, Weber retained the butterfly style for their auto chokes on grocery getters.

For multiple set up, you may not need to use them, as you would pump enough fuel in from the accelerator pumps with just one squirt, though it may be useful as a fast idle 'till the engine warms up, as they don't flood like a conventional choke.
