You may realize a good source for materials and references by calling John Vermeersch of Total Performance, just outside of Detroit, MI. His association with Ford as a special projects contractor is decades old, and his FE experiences date back to the early 60's. I visited his facility about 8 years back and he showed me raw camshafts, heads, bearings and such for the Cammer.
