I'm the one with the 454 from Keith. This 454 w/ webers puts out plenty of power for me. I went with a wide ratio 4 speed and 3.08 rear gear. It's very long legged, and pulls hard in every gear. And with the 3.08 it cruises nicely without too many revs in 4th.
