Cobra Make, Engine: (building) - Hunter #74 w/ 302 small block (320hp under the hood). . . how many wires are there in a wiring harness?

Default Exhaust Manifold Gasket . . .
Been a long long time since I did one of these . . .

Exhaust gasket has a shiny metal looking side and a softer brownish looking side.

Which way does the shiny metal side go, toward the block or toward the pipes?
