Dean, after I read your note, I checked out the Pro-5.0 unit....very nice!! Does your lever have any bends in it..? I think mine would be better if it were bent forward.

Don, I didn't know that the shifter could be moved....? the only part of the gear box that I've seen is the bottom while changing the motor oil....or what I could see through the hole in the tunnel when I took the shift lever off. There is no linkage....hmmm....I'll have to take a look at it again. It doesn't seem to make any sense to me.....? Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing, I'm not even sure which tremmec I have...it's a 5-spd.


hp...I made the stubby lever my self...I own a machine shop. I had some sort of stainless rod on the scrap shelf. Not sure what it was exactly...hope it wasn't something exotic and expensive (hee hee) . I bought the knob at the local auto parts store. This one is a Mr Gasket product. very cheap...but good enough for a trial.
