Last month, CSX4027 asked an opinion question..
CSX 3047 was delivered and born Hertz Gold.
It is currently Guardsman Blue with White Stripes.
If you were going to restore it. Would you go back to the way it was born?

Overwhelmingly, the majority wanted to see the car back in it's original color.
Well, Steve and I have discussed this car at length well before the poll...
...the trouble that I had was... in my "mind's eye", I could not visualize a 427 Cobra painted all Hertz Gold.
... couldn't make it happen...it kept morphing into a bronze 442. :-)
I needed a good original picture to help make the decision.
Well...we got it right here! ...a very nice vintage photograph of CSX3047, just a mere pup... in it's original Gold paint.
So, I'd like to resurrect the poll, based on these "new" visuals....
...should I start a new poll, so some can change their vote?
