If you are "restoring" it to "original" the question answers itself. If the car began life as Hertz gold and your bringing it back to the way it left SAI then it must be Hertz gold. That color as odd as it may be also helps antiquate the car to that era in a way.
Moreover, very few if any of the orignal 427s to my knowledge left the factory with stripes. Most were solid colors. Is this right Ron?
Hertz Gold is the right answer.
