Ok I hope someone here can help me. I have a 85 F-150 that we are swapping engines in (old one took a dump) The owner dropped off a junk yard replacement. Well the replacement has the 2 barrell throttle body. I know I have to swap parts over thats not the problem.....issue I have is I don't know late model small blocks that well and I need to know what year this engine is to make sure I can.

The boneyard had no clue what it came out of because their employee had passed away. I am having a hell of a time trying to find out either the casting number or the stamp # (behind intake on top of block) is telling me. the Stamp # is FX626051 anyone know of a site that lists the ID #'s?

Much appreciated as I am doing this for a neighbor who is disabled and otherwise wouldnt have a vehical.
