I have an older EM and I have used that space above the rear tire several times on the North west roads. Most roads aren't flat and some times i get some air.I was just at EM and they have a new Generation .Based on Ford Mustang Cobra IRS. Trunk is flat and has a 22 gal tank tucked up under.Lots of small inovations through out.I wished they would blow their own horn.
