As light as the Cobra is, and with 427 c.i. of displacement, an aluminum flywheel will feel right at home. I have a 418 stroker with an aluminum flywheel and the car runs and behaves perfectly. The car will easily get underway from a dead stop in 2nd gear without a shudder or cough. Compression braking from high rpm is great....kinda feels like the brakes have been applied when backing off the throttle on the twisties. Good throttle response at all rpm's too!
