The clip retainer isn't an ERA recomended part, neither is the attached spring clip for that matter. I also have an extra pivot but it has no slot. This leads me to want to go with the clip retainer cause' I can just cut the piece off of the fork & go. Someone please correct me if this is an inferior method...
