Hey Jerry,
I used a EZwiring 12 circuit harness. I placed the fuse box on the drivers side near the steering column on the inside of the firewall. I wired the battery (+) to a kill switch on the dash and the then wired the harness to the opposite side of the switch. I also ran a stainless ground wire from the frame to the firewall and attached it to a bolt that runs through the wall. I attached a heavy gauge wire to the bolt and then attached the wire to 2 connector blocks which I used for all of my (-) connections. I have never used American Autowire products, but I hear Ron Francis makes a great harness kit that is easy to install. I thought the EZwiring kit was good as well.
