What is Woodward? Hmmmmm....
Well, I would have to say that Woodward is a connective street between down-town Detroit and Pontiac. It is the original Hot Rod cruising BLVD. From the late fifties when guys from the Mound Road Engine plant would race down Woodward, to the late sixties and into the seventies when people used to race and meeting the opposite sex. By far, I think most car magazines cover now the "Woodward Dream Cruise". A weekend when a bunch, 250,000, cars travel up and down Woodward to race, thump and show-off. Woodward was the street to be on when I was a kid in the early seventies.
The
oil place is a local
oil change shop that does all of our vehicles, except the cobra and the tractors. They do a good job and I know the manager, so I did a promo by parking the clean shinny cobra out in front of the shop to get attention for the shop. There is a competing shop across the street. Even they came over to look at the car.
So Kristen, My wife thinks it is great that you run around in your cobra. So, now I am going to be giving her pointers on mine.
Sounds like you have some good stuff there with the only run and the recital.
It is raining and I have to replace the alternator on the cobra, it rattled apart inside. Weird.
