The statue of limitations for such things here Todd is 4 years. My point is in certain countries the peanalty for such crimes is death. I never took the drugs I smuggled, I hope they never got taken by children. Mostly they were used to destroy the enemies will to fight or even show up to fight, induce paranoia, mistrust and generally destroy moral.

You know the risks you take your chances. The rewards are great as are the penalties. Had we been caught we would have been killed. We didn't get caught. My favorite quote on the subject come from a former Director Of Operations... A name evey one of you will know.

"If the people were to ever find out what we have done, we would be chased down the streets and lynched."

In our case it wasn't about the money, we defeated communism in this hemisphere and funded operations abroad, the phillipines, former baltic states. Which all fell well before the former Soviet Union.
