Default Highly recommend you use the regulator

My Holley electric fuel pump was putting out 14 psi which was 2 x the needed pressure, causing rich running and all kinds of other problems.. it came that way on my "turnkey" and when I rebuilt the engine (a looong story) I wisely added a fuel regulator and trimmed the pressure down to about 7 lbs. That was then, carb, this is now:

I'm changing over to EFI right now and it's going to be a big relief.. I hate carbs, erspecially in a car that can pull 1.1 gs and as a result flooded (overspill) on every hard corner or u-turn I took!
