My car has a 351 Performer intake and 750 edelbrock carb....i was looking over it and noticed there is no spacer plate between the carb and intake....should there be one?.....I am having issues with the motor, running very rich, run on, black smoke comming out of the side pipes, when i tried to adjust the idle mix it doesnt change the motors idle. My vaccum advance isnt working, thats a MSD pro billet dist , so im going to tackle that...one issue i may have is hood clearance if i have to run a spacer plate....im BARELY clearing what i have now...
