If you have the matching manifold for a spreadbbore carb there is not a need for a spacer. The Edelbrock carbs can be a great running carb if you are willing to get in there & get it set up properly. I learned a lot when i set mine up but came to realize that it's a lot more fun to just set a Holley on, make a few adjustments & go.
