aaaaah fella's caught this thread a little late and so glad you brought it up. Been stuck over in europe you don't get the full gossip of whats happening back home. i read the smh everyday and even more since the Corby case.
As some of you guys have said why would you import 4.1 kilo's of grass into a country where its freely available and at a better price. I spent over 6 months travelling around sth east asia and spent several weeks in Bali, and what mike said is so true, the government workers are so corrupt its not funny. We were a group of friends in Kuta we hired a Suziki Sierra for the day,a few in the back and three in the front (me being the extra person in the front). driving down the main street trying to turn right and a copper pulls out blowing his wistle, little stocky fella dressed in brown, we pull over and we all get out. Ranting and raving away and pulls me over to the side and says i must follow him. We walked 10 metres where there's this concrete block box waist high next to the road, similar to a witness box in a court house. i find myself in there and the copper outside starring at me and saying you are too many in the car. I look around people are hanging off buses and trucks even saw a family of 4 people all crushed on a scotter. I pointed out that he was joking only to find myself him threatening that i will go to court and bla bla. Finally finding myself pulling out a few green backs and shaking his hand goodbye.
I believe what i have read that Corby certainly has recieved the raw deal of the stick. But thank god i have always and will continue to lock and make sure my luggage is secure.
aaaaah thxs for listening to that.
