Only time will tell if the RTA have got it right, their track record to date has not been good.

I am a firm believer that driver training is the key to keeping people safe on the road and Ben will get a few of these courses under his belt after he gets his P plates.

You dont have to drive fast to have fun (skid pan day) or get into trouble. I rolled my 1200 cc VW while on P plates and that was purely due to not knowing what i was doing and there was of course the swing axle. Made a good base for the Meyers Manx that came next.

I really wanted to share the Cobra experience with Ben sooner than later. Suppose waiting two years isnt so bad....
