Simon,

I have a 351 stroked to 416 and have a hydraulic cam with lifters good to 7500 RPM, but since my horsepower comes in at 6100, I never wind it past that except when I hit an oil slick and it hit 7,000. My engine puts out between 510/530 horse, and in my opinion, is way over powered for this car. It alos has 510 pounds tourque and coming out of any corner in 2nd, 3,rs, or 4th, can be an experience if you aren't familiar with it. Mine was built in Canton, Ohio in 1995 for me and I have had no trouble at all with xcept the gas tank seems to empty to fast. The main things I see different in our engines is that I have the Trick Flow Twisted heads on mine and the Cobra rocker covers. I have 11:1 compression. If the engine is in good shape it should make a screamer for you in any car.

Ron
