Hello. I am considering building a 427 SO for my 1966 Fairlane.It will be used for a street/strip car with more street than strip. I plan on using a 427 SO block, bored .030 over. Also, I was thinking about using high-riser heads and a 2x4 intake. The cam I am thinking about using is a Comp cams mechanical roller with 262 duration, .672 lift and 110 lobe separation angle.
. What I really need help with is the pistons. I want to run forged pistons with at least 10.2 compression, but more toward 10.5. What kind of power will I be looking at? is this too much cam for the street? Can someone run this through desktop dyno and find what would yield the best HP?
