Both our rear suspension designs are designed around the Jag/Dana 44 casting and gear set. The Ford 9" pinion is offset about 1.5" lower than the Dana. I've seen a customer's attempt at using one - the necessary modifications to the chassis were not, IMHO, structurally acceptable.

Because of the car's light weight, you can only put so much torque through the axles before wheelspin. Adding a HD spider and 30-spline inner axles should keep everything together. The "Cosby" car is outfitted that way.

The price for the ERA rear suspension kit is about $3000.
