Thanks guys, but I'm really not looking for why it is like this or why it got like this. This is not a problem and solution thread, but thanks for the help.

Wilf, I have done over three hundred Tremecs in the last few years and always use the recommended GM Syncromesh fluid with a little of a special uniglide friction modifier.

Terry none of these three in question has over 600 miles on them. Seems to be a fluke with maybe rings not hardened properly or?
