That's the level it should be so, it's ok. Are there any cracks ? Check around the filler hole. With the Tremecs, the filler hole is a pipe thread. If you tighten it too much, it can crack. Try getting the tranny real clean, fiil it up with fluid, set some cardboard under it & watch for drip spots to see if there's any cracks, seal or gasket that's bad.
