Personally

, I would use Red Loctite if the brake pads didn't require removing the adapter. The bond can be broken fairly easily with the heat from a propane torch.
Before I applied the Loctite though, I would make sure the wheel fit was perfect while all the lugs were installed but not completely tightened. Then remove one nut at a time to apply the Loctite, tightening to about 70% of the torque spec. Finally, when all the lugs are installed, torque to spec.
