For the street driver, do you have a preference?
If you do a lot of city driving or parking, have a spouse with limited upper body strength, or have gotten really soft, the slower ratio would be best. For real men , the faster ratio is quite acceptable. We used the faster ratio for many years without significant complaints.

I've done some research on them, but mostly for our GT which has the steering wheel at arms length and uses a faster steering ratio. The 427 has never cried out for such a complicated fix, especially with the slower ratio gear which feels very close to power. KISS (Keep it simple, stupid) is a good basis for kit design...
