Gents,
A couple of customers came by this weekend and we decided to go on a little drive. So we went for a drive on the incredible Mt. Nebo Loop. It is 35 miles of a fast, winding road through the hinterlands of Utah. There are lots of 20 MPH warning signs for the turns. S curves like you have never seen them except in the commercials. The road is like Disneyland for Cobras (and replicas too).
The road must have a 1000 turns in it (not sure really how many turns, but a WHOLE bunch), and it is relatively untravelled--expecially early in the morning. You are more likely to run into a cow (WATCH OUT) than you are another car. The view is incredible--as are the 1000 foot drop offs WITH NO GUARD RAILS TO BLOCK YOUR VIEW.
(I can still see Jamo screaming beside me right now. This road makes Squaw Peak look like a warm up lap.)
We stopped at the Peak of the pass for a photo shoot. (I thought you guys might like a picture.) I have NEVER seen the mountains GREEN in August with snow still in the mountains. We got "thumbs-up" from everyone we passed, (mostly bicycles).
It was a great day and a GREAT run. Maybe we should plan another one.
