I would highly recommend a thermostat if you are going to be running an
oil cooler.
Several threads on the subject with manufacurers mentioned on the forum.
Trick here is to get the
oil up to the proper temp. The
oil coolers definately seem to work and, in most cases, too well and don't allow the oil to reach proper temp.
