Syd,

I actually measured the larger bolt head on the picture, got the head diameter offline, did some ratios, and figured out the coilover bolt is 1/2". hehehe....I did learn something from school...

Let's see.....

My springs are not compressed.

I'll post another pic so that you can see. Dana says these shocks are 10.25"C and 13.25"E. I have enough room to slide a 10" spring up on the coilover body then put the nut on behind it.

Of course if you use a spanner wrench, you can compress the spring, thereby extending the shock, but you can only extend the shock about 1/4" more....The spring takes up a lot of room...

I'll post another pic so that you can see what I'm talking about.
