OK....here's my setup....as you can see the shock is almost fully extended and the spring is sitting down at the bottom of the shock.

In this picture, the rearend is supported (not the frame of the car) so this would be how the shocks would appear if the wheels/tires were on the car and it was sitting on the ground.

The spring takes up the whole coilover and the shock is pretty much extended.

If the shock is indeed a 13.25"E shock, then the ride height in this picture is probably around 13".

If I went to an 8" or 9" spring, I could load the suspension and still have room to run the spring nut down and drop the suspension.

Since you do have the Aldans, they may have a longer extended length....
