Thanks for the compliment,
My son and I have been working closely with my builder for about 7 months now.
He won't work on it unless Andy or I are at his shop to participate. I have done my fair share of engines but this is my first FE and I thought it important to get the kids involved and gain some understanding of engines and how they work. Its a 427 side oiler that started out as a raw block. We route all the parts through our home for inspection and then take them to the builders shop. Andy has gotten to learn a lot, everything from how hone a cylinder to measuring valve spring height to doing the port and polish work on the heads together. It really has been fun.
What made you finally decide on the SPF, we are still in the review stages of which car company to go with, a lot of good ones out there.
