Thanks very much for the info. It's always nice to hear from a source who unquestionably knows what he is talking about.

Do you think the Mexican block is sufficiently better than an early 302 to be worth the trouble of finding one for an engine that will make 450 to 500 HP NA @7,000 to 7,500 RPM? The engine would be Street / Track, so longevity is one of the things I am looking for. (Forged Crank, Rods & Pistons, 28oz imbalance).
