The oil level will be different from a stock pan and you need to keep it below the windage tray but well over the top of the pickup. If the oil level is above the windage tray you will get foaming and defeat the purpose of it. Mark the dipstick to insure the level is above the pickup but just below the windage tray.

The Aviaid is nice and period correct but the price is more than 2X the Canton and I'm happy with the cheaper oil pan. First clown that climbs under my car and rags on me about the oil pan will have bellhousing tracks all over his forehead..............
