Strictlypersonal,

What you are saying in lever shape, has the same affect as spacing on the shifter itself, so whether I do some spacing on the shifter and the most on the lever, the end result is the same in order to get from the shifter to the desired knob position!
I suppose its just the aesthetics of where it comes through the tunnel I am trying to improve, by moving the the point where it comes through the floor to look more central
