M I have a complete Mallory system. I converted from an older HyFire IV box to an new HyFire VI with programable rev limiter.When I started the engine ran fine while warming up in the alley.I would start to drive the car away from home I could usually get about two miles or so away then it would all go to crap. It started missing and got worse. I'd turn aroud and start back. The engine would idle fine but getting the car rolling was terrible. The Mallory unit has a bypass plug that eliminates the box. It ran fine with the box eliminated. I returned the box (Still within the warranty ) and ordered a replacment that ran just fine.
