The track must have been not too concerned about tech that day. They kindly asked me to leave the facility after going quicker than 12.0.

I tried all sorts of tire pressures and ultimately ended up at 13 psi on the rears. My burnouts were less than stellar, but the track official gave me some good advice for the last couple runs. I was initially burning out and coasting past the start line then backing up. I guess this picks up dust and such so it still spins. I later did a little burn out and stopped before the staging area and it stuck a bit better. I'm not going to do it, but I could easily see this car on the 325/15 ET Street drag radials pulling the front end with a high rpm launch if the drive line was stronger.
The SL600 RENNTech was one of the fastest cars out there with its V12 twin turbo and mods. He did the burnout right and was running 275/17 ET Street drag radials. He was actually running 32 psi. It stuck hard with traction control off. The car has around 700 ft lbs at the wheels torque at 3000 rpm for corrected Dynodynamics numbers. Engine tourque is 910 ft lbs.
Here's a pass of the two of us when he caught me sleeping at the tree. LOL
