The cobra and cobra coupes beat Ferrari in the FIA GT series and USRRC. They won a ton of races in these two series.
The cobras won the world championship in the FIA series.
Ferrari actually had a race canceled in Italy one season so they could stay ahead in the points.

The cobras just did ok in Le Mans because Ferrari had prototypes - 7th one year and 4th another (1st in Gt)? I'm not sure if this is perfectly accurate. But I know the cobras were the stars in the FIA GT series.
