My
oil pressure also starts out in the 65 to 70 pound range when the engine is cold and then as the engine warms up it goes down to about 30-35 at idle (750~) but it does increase to a normal 60~ at 2000 RPM.
Perhaps, is your wet sump starved or dry (due to all the pan
oil being topside) at high RPM thus causing a low
oil pressure reading? Do you have enough oil in the oil pan?
How many quarts of oil do you install at a typical oil change (including the filter) My engine takes 9 quarts with the remote oil cooler and a Milodon pan. Just a thought...
