Like Blykins said about the interlock pin:
When I bought my ERA the trans gear shift would occasionally lockup when shifting from reverse to first gear. The trans would be in one gear or the other but the linkage would be stuck in between the two gears. MAJOR freakin' head ache!!
Turns out it was MISSING that tiny little 'inter lock' pin. That pin can fall out of position real easy during reassembly. It's so small it's easy to overlook, but it's SO important.
