Installed my rebuilt 427 from Keith Craft, and have bolted up a new TKO 600. Now I'm concerned about the driveline angle. About to go get a digital measuring gizmo from Home Depot to figure out the actual angles, but as you can see from the picture, it doesn't look like it's where it needs to be ie less than 3 degrees.
Question is, what's the best way to correct this? I can put a taller mount under the tail of the tranny to lift it up, but am concerned about how much I can do this without putting undue stress on the transmission. Would it help if I loosed the motor mount bolts, then lined it up, and then went back and re-tightened them?
It all lined up before with a Tremec 3550, but I now have a new bellhousing and have reinstalled the engine.
Please help - I want to be driving this weekend - it's been 4 months and I'm having serious withdrawls!!
