Yes I did consider doing the whole pin drive hub in one piece. The thing that put me off was how difficult the wheel bearings would be to service. It would also mean I'd have to consider a different style of disc rotor. The HSV rotors are available everywhere and are reasonably cheap. I paid $160 each for mine.

I also like the idea of being able to swap to a bolt on wheel if the need arises. i.e. a second set of cheaper steel wheels with race rubber. Or a spare wheel with dual bolt patterns to suit front and rear.
