Default Short Block Day Dream

I noticed that Carillo lists a 5.433 Honda rod that weighs 411gms. The big end on many 5.4" Ford rods weigh over 400gms.

So I was thinking, offset grind a 2.123" journal 3" stroke crank to 1.771" giving a 3.352 stroke. Get some custom pistons with a 1.09 compression height (350-280gms) and .827 pin (maybe 80gms 2.2" long)

...and you'd have a 342 or 363 with under 1200gm bobweight and easily balanced. Low friction also.
