I mounted mine on the left of the tunnel. In the early G-Force the tunnel is slightly scalloped on the passenger side and it sits in just nice. Gives me more room in the drivers seat.
I used a Mazda lever with woodgrain handle. Leather boot covers most of the lever leaving just the handle exposed.
