Any brand of gauge is ok- as I mentioned the only requirement as far as adr goes is that it must read in Kph.
Also they are not supposed to have a chrome surround but that is fixed by applying black tape to the chrome and then once passed rego somehow the speed of driving seems to rip every piece of black tape off all the shiney bits.
Being a member of the darkside (chevy engine) doesnt really affect the type or brand of gauge required.
